Louisiana Purchase

I can't believe that Andrew Jackson picked me to go on the exploration with Lewis and Clark. The trip was about two years long and we took a Native American named Sacajawea with us as a translator. A. Jackson sent us out to get a feel for the lay of the land. We were supposed to look for new kinds of plants, so maybe we could make a new medicine out of it. We looked for any kinds of animals that were new to us. We saw these big things that were like cows only furrier. I think the Native Americans called them "buffalo". We saw many Native American tribes that were settled on the land.
I believe that we can unify a nation with diverse people by letting them have sections of land on which to do their own thing. If there are many doctors who want to find and create new medicines we can let them go out over the Louisiana Purchase land and work together. I think that as a nation we must stand together trough the rough times and work together.
