Indian Removal Act

The day that Andrew Jackson ordered us to move the Native Americans was one of the darkest days of my life. We Hauled them away from their homes without so much as a stitch of clothing. We pushed so many of them together in a single wagon that they had to sit and lay on top of one another. Many of them were sick and we put them together with the healthy Native Americans, which in turn got sick as well. More than half of the Native Americans died and because we were trying to get up to the north west faster, we didn't give them proper Native American funerals. Because of this the surviving Native Americans were furious with us. Many of the deceased Native Americans we just dropped off on the side of the trail. When we finally made it to the north west, we basically shoved them out of the wagons and left them there with absolutely nothing.
As a nation we must acknowledge others feelings about their property. Instead of forcing the Native Americans off their land we could have compromised with them and shared it. As a nation we should stand together and stick up for the people who are being bullied because of our wrong-doing.

Why were the Native American's "furious" with "us"??

The Native Americans were furious with us because we forced them from their land to the west. And then once we had the Louisiana Purchase we forced them from their new home in the west, up to the northern parts because we wanted our precious land even though Andrew Jackson promised to treat them fairly.
